Constructed Response Questions

These questions provide students with a prompt and require them to generate an answer by writing, drawing, responding via audio/video, or through other methods. Constructed response questions are generally used to assess higher-order thinking skills (analysis, evaluation, and creation).

Constructed responses include short-answer questions and essays.
